Grooming

Here at American Dream we offer full service grooming. Our experienced groomers handle your dog with care and compassion. With over 25 years combined grooming experience, your pet is in qualified hands

Grooming services include:
*Bath- choose the type of shampoo you would like for your pet, example is oatmeal for sensitive coats, color enhancers for dark or red dogs, whiteners for white or majority white dogs, flea control shampoos, puppy shampoos, flea dips are upon request and for a small additional fee
*Blow dry-Your pet will be blown dry, force dryers are used for heavy under coated pets, to get out all the undercoat and dead hair, making your pet feel and look 100%
*Glands expressed- Expression of your pets anal glands
*Ear cleaning- Ear wash is used to clean and sanitize your pets ears, drying powder may also be applied upon request, for breeds that require it, hair is removed from the ear opening and canal, such as poodles, shih tzus, etc.
*Nails-nail trimming, any dogs that show aggression and/or is fractious during nail clipping will require a muzzle and small additional fee.
*Specialty clips- Your pet can be clipped to fit its breed standard; examples are cocker cuts, poodle clips, yorkie cuts, etc. We will also do what we refer to as a "summer smoothie", for your pet upon request. This is when your pet is body clipped, we offer this in a variety of lengths, face shaping is included, as well as "sanitary" clipping, around the booty area and pee pee area, for sanitary reasons.
*If your pet needs a grooming service that you do not see, feel free to contact us.
*At this time we do not groom cats
*For a small additional fee of $15, after your pet is bathed, upon request we can apply topical flea, tick, and mosquito control, this topical lasts one month and should be reapplied every four weeks. The topical also helps keep flies off the ears.
